David Busby, spent more than two decades inside one of the world's largest energy and technology companies, building and running cybersecurity programs that protected global infrastructure, cloud environments, OT/ICS systems, and everything in between.

Built SLB's global vulnerability management program from the ground up — scaling it to support 150,000+ user-initiated scans annually; and automated scans based on changing network topology.

He led application security across mobile, cloud, on-premises, and industrial control systems. He worked with M&A teams to assess security risk during acquisitions. He authored a DNS DDoS mitigation instructions formally recognized by the FBI in response to active attacks.

Now he brings that experience directly to the businesses that need it most — and can rarely access it.

David holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas State University, has been CISSP-certified since 2007, earned his GICSP in 2025, and contributed to CISSP exam development for ISC² that same year. He is an active member of InfraGard Houston, a CYBER.SEC.CON (https://www.cybrseccon.com/) volunteer, and a longtime advocate for cybersecurity education in Houston's STEM community.
